BAC FILMS DISTRIBUTION, subsidiary of listed company BAC MAJESTIC, is a major player in the French cinema industry. An independent distributor, its activities cover four occupations: distribution in movie theaters, television sales, video editing and VOD, as well as sales of films abroad. To date, 15 films labeled BAC have won the Palme d’Or or the Grand Prix at Cannes.
BAC MAJESTIC is listed on the NYSE Euronext Paris (Compartment C) under the code ISIN FR0011451186-BST (consolidated shares) and under the code ISIN FR0010973487-BSTNR (non-consolidated shares).
ATOUT CAPITAL advised BAC MAJESTIC in the sale of its subsidiary BAC and associated brands, to a consortium of private and institutional investors for the sum of €2.7m. Following this sale BAC MAJESTIC’S sole asset will be the company BAC FILMS which has a distribution mandate for an existing catalog of films and which does not intend acquiring any new films for distribution.
BAC MAJESTIC is under the control of MILLIMAGES, one of Europe’s leading producers of animated films.
