DRONE VOLT is an expert in embedded artificial intelligence and a manufacturer of professional civilian drones.
Its recognized expertise in the development of new aeronautical technologies combined with its knowhow in drone design have made it one of the main leaders in its market. DRONE VOLT’s strategy is based on the ongoing improvement of its technology, in particular at its two R&D centers located in France and the Netherlands.
DRONE VOLT benefits from an international geographical footprint thanks to its establishments in France, Benelux, Canada, Denmark, the United States and Switzerland. In October 2020, the Group signed a license agreement for the production and sale of drones with the American company AQUILINE DRONES to accelerate its development on American soil. In order to strengthen this strategic partnership, a cross shareholding of less than 10% of the capital was completed.
DRONE VOLT achieved sales of €7.1m in 2019. In this previous business year, 63% of the turnover was generated abroad. DRONE VOLT is listed on EURONEXT GROWTH Paris (FR0013088606 – ALDRV).
ATOUT CAPITAL advised DRONE VOLT on its €4.1m fund raising and for the implementation of its cross shareholding between AQUILINE DRONES and DRONE VOLT.
The offer was a great success with the public, with an oversubscription rate of approximately 2.26 times the initial offer. This fund raising will allow the group to strengthen its financial structure to carry out its development plan and to finance the international deployment of its solutions, in particular thanks to the latest license agreement signed with AQUILINE DRONES.
